Sarajevo & Moi is the new musical venture of Michel Mercier, drummer and bassist of mythical Quebec band Handful of Snowdrops. Having worked on different projects since, including the acclaimed HOS comeback album in 2015, he's now impatient to share his new born. With Jean Ruest on keyboards and the powerful voice of Juliette Décembre (ex-Hypnos), the band updates the sound and grooves of the New Wave era with a commanding soulful voice and engaging cutting edge arrangements. Sarajevo & Moi will conjure up soaring earworms reminiscent of the Human League and Ultravox.
Sarajevo & Moi est la nouvelle aventure musicale de Michel Mercier, ex-batteur et bassiste de la mythique formation québécoise Handful of Snowdrops. Ayant travaillé depuis sur différents projets, dont le grand retour sur disque de HOS en 2015, il est impatient de partager son nouveau-né. Accompagné aux synthés par Jean Ruest et par la voix puissante de Juliette Décembre (ex-Hypnos) également aux claviers, Sarajevo & Moi nous offre une voix puissante sur un son électronique et accrocheur prenant racine dans la musique new-wave et ce, tout en étant résolument actuel. Le groupe évoque des vers d’oreille qui ne sont pas sans nous rappeler les envolées mélodiques de Human League et Ultravox.
